Aria Nicole is an original Georgia Peach born and raised in Atlanta by
two very important women in her life - her mother and maternal
grandmother.

First introduced to poetry when her 6th grade English teacher insisted that she memorize Langston Hughes' "Mother to Son" for a class assignment. For her, it was love at first read. She was then introduced to the works of Maya Angelou, Countee Cullin, Gwendolyn Brooks and Phyllis Wheatly before discovering Nikki Giovanni, Sonia Sanchez and other Black Revolutionary Poets through her own studies.

Although this is her debut book, she is definitely no stranger to the
art of the spoken and written word. Living in Atlanta gave her the
opportunity to frequent local writing workshops and poetry venues. Aria has also had the privilege of meeting many of the poets who inspired her.

In "Lost Time" she admits to allowing her own fears and procrastination to hinder her from pursuing her dreams of publishing her work for many years. Aria writes about her real life experiences, that years ago would have seemed too difficult to talk about. Now she has decided to share her experiences as a tool for growth. The Evolution Beyond Words & Poetry is no longer a dream deferred, but instead a dream fulfilled

Aria is currently employed as a Payment Processing Specialist. Although she is a self-proclaimed homebody who enjoys her quiet time at home alone, she revels in spending time with her loved ones as well.
